Nikki Thorne is an established name in the UK Acro Gymnastics scene. As a gymnast she was British Tumbling Champion and competed in the World Championships and also in the European Championship as part of a womans group.

As a coach she has trained many gymnasts to winning World and European medals. To accompany her outstanding coaching ability,Nikki is also a sociable and fun person to be around. Having Nikki Thorne as a coach will ensure you or your child have a successful and fun Acro Gymnastics experience.

Jan is Nikki’s Mother and Tony Wills (the founder of King Edmund Acro Gymnastics) wife. She is the steady backbone of the club. As well as organising many aspects of the clubs events, Jan is a friendly face to all the gymnasts.

Kay Newman is qualified to judge the Acro Gymnastics competitions in the South West of England. She joined the King Edmund team because her children,Luke,Lucy and Victoria were gymnasts at the club. Luke Newman was one half of a men’s Pair, the other being Chris Mewse.They trained at the club as a pair for over 7 years and competed in many competitions, including the World Age Group Games in Zielona Gora Poland (2nd place).
